The latest pictures from Wittering
Latest dive pics from the wreck 'Mulberry harbour' (a ship used as an artificial harbour in the second world war). I don't know any exact date but I reckon they're from early September sometime.

A 'Common Lobster' around the mulberry. Not really a big Lobster, but it wouldn't make a bad meal.

Pollack (Cod family) on the stern (I think!) not too far away from the large clusters of Dead Mans Fingers.

"Oi, that camera's too close to my home! Get away rude diver!!"

I'm pretty sure this is a Ballan Wrasse. Tell me if I got the type of Wrasse wrong, but they're not usuaully this sort of pinky orange colour. Suppose they're just one of those wide ranging colouration species.

Well, before you stare in amazement, let me just start by saying this is the furthest easterly distribution point for Jewel Anemones. In more westerly waters the spread for longer than 0.7m and are in far more different colours. This seems to be some sort of weird lime yellow colour. Can't say I've seen Jewel Anemones in only one colour before!
